Our apartment this go-around in Rome is a studio loft. The flat is in an old building on a small cobblestoned one-way street.

We are on the 2nd floor – so really the third floor, as the first level is the ground floor, then the first floor, second floor, etc. We have a nice wooden door with lots of character.

Inside, we have a large living space with tall windows that let in loads of sunshine, an awesome wooden beam ceiling, spiral staircase to the lofted sleeping area and a wall of wardrobes for storage.

There is also a small kitchen and bathroom with full bath tub and bidet. The space works well for us, and we are loving the apartment.

The apartment is on a little street called Vicolo della Vaccarella just off of Via della Scrofa. We are a hop, skip and a jump from Piazza Navona and another hop to the Pantheon. It’s a fantastic location, and we are very happy we found this place. The picture on the right below is a view from our window of Via della Scrofa.

TheĀ apartment givesĀ us a central location from which to explore Rome. We aren’t far from any of the major sites and are happy to have the opportunity to walk around enjoying the small winding streets, popping in gelato shops and pizzerias along the way. We’ve only been here a few days – but we’re loving it!
Wow! Stunning! I absolutely love this place… If my b’n'b looks just half as good I am happy.
Can’t wait!
