Rome’s Piazza Navona at dusk.
Announcement! Announcement! Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnouncement!
After much deliberation, we have decided that we will be spending two months in Rome, Italy this spring. This will be our third consecutive year visiting the Eternal City, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We have plane tickets and an apartment booked. We arrive the first weekend of February, just in time for Kate’s birthday (it’s like we did this on purpose…). We’ve even purchased train tickets for a side trip that we’re very excited about. And of course the research has begun: making lists of museums and restaurants to (re)visit. I almost forgot! I bought tickets for an AS Roma football (soccer) match and registered to run the Maratona di Roma, again! There is a lot to be excited about. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you all, starting in just over four weeks.
Quick side note: in case you didn’t see it on Twitter (@ForeignDetours) or Facebook (facebook.com/ForeignDetours) – our photography project, Roam Photo, has a shop on Society6! You can see the shop here: http://society6.com/RoamPhoto and read about it on the Roam Photo blog: http://roamphoto.com/blog/
So excited for you guys! I can’t wait to see the pictures!
